Prayer tracking
A prayer tracker that does not make you feel worse
Tick each prayer off as you pray it and watch consistency build over weeks. A prayer you have not logged yet is simply not logged — it is never coloured red, and the app never opens on a list of everything you have missed.
The design rule
Neutral until logged, never red
Most prayer trackers mark an unlogged prayer as a failure the moment its window closes. By mid-afternoon the screen is a row of red before the day is even over — and a red screen is an app you stop opening.
Prayr treats an unlogged prayer as exactly what it is: something not yet recorded. It sits as a neutral outline. It does not turn a colour, it does not accumulate into a warning, and nothing on the screen is designed to make you feel watched.
The point of tracking is to notice a pattern early enough to change it. That only works if you keep looking.
What you get
Enough signal to be useful
- One tap per prayer
- Log it from the home screen as you go. No separate screen, no form, no confirmation dialog.
- Streaks
- See how many days you have kept all five. A streak is a reason to keep going, not a stick.
- Weekly and monthly view
- Consistency is only visible over time. The longer view is where you notice that Fajr has been slipping for a fortnight.
- Daily habits
- Track the things around the prayer too — adhkar, Qur'an, sadaqah — as small daily habits rather than another guilt list.
- Journal
- Your history in one place, so you can look back over a month without reconstructing it from memory.
- Works signed out
- Track without an account and it stays on your device. Sign in later and your history comes with you.
Start with today
You do not need to set anything up or backfill a history. Open it, log the next prayer you pray, and let the pattern build from there.
Do I have to log prayers at the exact time?
No. You can log a prayer whenever you get to your phone, and you can go back and log an earlier one. The tracker is a record, not a stopwatch.
What happens if I miss a day?
The streak resets and nothing else happens. There is no notification about it, no badge, and no screen listing what you missed.
Can I track qada prayers?
You can log prayers for earlier days, which covers making up a prayer you missed. There is no separate qada counter.
Is my prayer history private?
Yes. It is yours, it is not shown to anyone else, and there is no social feed or leaderboard anywhere in Prayr.
